MARIANA NAVA
Certified Event Planner, Designer & Producer
I am a young experienced Wedding Planner from Mexico City who specialized in Events Management at William Angliss Institute in Melbourne, Australia.
During my time in Melbourne, I got the opportunity to work at some of the largest and most important events such as the Formula 1 Grand Prix, The Australian Open, The Melbourne Cup and The Food and Wine Festival. I was involved in the coordination of numerous Gala Dinners and Fundraiser Events and worked for one of the largest Catering companies in Melbourne (Atlantic Group) where I gained experience not only in logistics and production but also in high quality service.
Once I returned from Melbourne, I started to work at a local company in San Miguel de Allende, assisting the Director and coordinating over 50 Destination Weddings. For over 3 years I was in charge of the whole planning process including: budgeting, catering, styling, flowers, logistics and production.
After those years, I moved back to Mexico City and started to work as an Event Coordinator at Gonzalez + Helfon, one of the most prestigious, creative and major event companies in Mexico. While working at G+H, I organized events all over Mexico, Los Angeles and Miami.
During the pandemics, as the events were paused, I decided to do a Masters in Interactive Digital Media at Griffith College in Dublin, Ireland. When the events industry resumed its activities, I came back to San Miguel de Allende and continued planning and coordinating weddings.
Nowadays, I work as an Event Manager at Zumo doing catering and events, but also as an Independent Destination Wedding Planner doing what I love: creating unforgettable experiences for my clients.

10. My strongest skills at events are: providing an excellent service to the clients and their guest (during and before the event), following the logistics, and timeline as it was discussed and last but not least, the design of the event including flowers, table set up, printed items, lighting and furniture.
